Get Into Tools is a growing set of free tools for the small jobs that come up every day: checking a word count, turning a PDF into a Word file, making a photo small enough to upload, or cutting out a background.

How it is different

Many online tools upload your files to a server and process them there. Ours run inside your browser, on your own device. Your documents and photos stay with you, and you do not need an account.

Who is behind the site

Get Into Tools is an independent website, launched in November 2026. It is not part of a large software company. It started with a simple idea: everyday file jobs should be quick and free, and you should not have to hand over private documents to get them done.

How we test our tools

Before a tool goes live, we run it with real files, including damaged files and the wrong file types. If a tool has a limit, we say so on its page. For example, our PDF converter cannot read text from scanned pages, and our background remover can struggle with fine hair.

If a tool gives you a wrong result or a guide contains an error, please let us know and we will look into it.
