Case Converter questions

What is the difference between Title Case and Capitalized Case?

Title Case keeps small words such as "and", "of" and "the" in lowercase unless they come first or last, as in a headline. Capitalized Case gives every word a capital letter.

Which title case style does it follow?

It follows a common headline style with a general list of small words. Style guides such as AP and Chicago differ on some words, so check titles that must follow a specific guide.

Will it change acronyms like NASA?

Title Case and Sentence case keep words that are already in capitals, unless your whole text is in capitals. In that case the tool cannot tell which words are acronyms, so check the result.

Does Sentence case fix names?

No. It cannot tell that a word such as "london" is a name, so names that were not in capitals need correcting by hand.

What are camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case for?

They are naming styles used in programming and web addresses. They remove spaces and punctuation, so each line of your text becomes one joined name.

Is my text saved or sent anywhere?

No. The conversion happens in your browser. Your text is not uploaded or stored.
